2009 Jan 7-14: Old Sigatoka bridge (Melrose bridge) partly washed away on the Suva end about 4 p.m. Sun 11th, breaking the sewer and water pipelines that utilised the bridge. Flooding in the Fiji Islands between 1840 and 2010 .
